Entanglement of Random States

The quantification of multipartite entanglement is an open andchallenging problem. The work described in the seminar is motivated bythe idea that multipartite entanglement might be intimately related torandomness. We shall study the entanglement of a class of states whosecoefficient are randomly distributed. Instead of using a single realnumber as a measure of multipartite entanglement we shall look at theproperties of the distribution of the purity of the subsystems.
